Dog bin emptying

The issue of emptying dog bins around the parish has been raised again. The council have explored various options:

  • Balfour Beatty have said that they do not have the appropriate license to dispose of the waste
  • Herefordshire Council have said they do not have the appropriate license to dispose of the waste
  • Various private companies have quoted but only for disposing of the waste when collected from a central point, which does not solve the issue of the bins being emptied
  • A quote for emptying four dog bins and disposing of the waste has been received – £145 plus VAT per month

CSPC are trying to see how parishioners feel about this and if they would be prepared to volunteer to empty a bin – please see the poll on the homepage. Any further comments can be emailed to the clerk – clerk@cradleyparishcouncil.gov.uk
